Women in Tobacco
The Women In Tobacco (WIT) event will take place on Tuesday, 15 September, from 16:30 to 18:30, in the 18th Century Breakfast Room of the Grand Hotel Majestic. The gathering is sponsored by Swedish Match.
The WIT guest speaker is the famous chef Marta Pulini.
Educated at some of the world’s most prestigious international schools of fine cuisine, Pulini has worked as the executive chef at several prominent restaurants, including Bice, Le Madri and Tuscan Square in New York City.
Gault & Millau named Pulini America’s best Italian chef and Veronelli America crowned her best female chef of the year in 1999.
Pulini is also considered one of America’s most experienced teachers of Italian oenogastronomics, having given courses at the Culinary Institute of America, among other prestigious schools.
Pulini has published numerous cookbooks, and her recipes have been featured in influential American televisions shows and publications, including Martha Stewart Living and The New York Times.
Delegates will be delighted to learn that Pulini is also the main caterer of the GTNF.
